How long would you like to spend in the dark, discussing the darkness and how it feels to be in such a dark place?
When shall we start looking for the light?
Hypnosis – What is it?
Perhaps it’s easier to star with what hypnosis is not, as many people come with preconceived ideas and fears having seen stage hypnotists getting people to do odd things for the entertainment of an audience. Well it’s not like that at all. Hypnosis is the process of guiding a person into a very focused state of altered consciousness, and to then talk to their subconscious mind. That’s part of the mind that’s thousands of times more powerful than the conscious mind, and its the same part of the time which harbours the anxieties and addictions and fears and behavioural habits which we seek to change or remove.
Hypnotherapy – What’s that?
It’s the process whereby a person in that trance state can be guided through the imaginative ideas, stories, metaphors and suggestions which will help change that unwanted behaviour, or to overcome the fear or phobia which affects their health, their life and their happiness. It’s easy and enjoyable, and it’s immensely successful in the changes which can be brought about, quickly and painlessly.
